Meditation on the Three of Cups

There was a minister whose child was born dead. The minister held up the tiny, lifeless form on his two hands and prayed. Whereupon, his two hands providing a perfect channel for the inflowing of a strong current of life, the child breathed and lived.

Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand,

and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing.

Miriam sang to them: "Sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted.

The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea."
